Lori Young Bio PictureLori Young, President and Certified Restorer

Bartwood Construction’s president, Lori Young, has more than 20 years of experience in the insurance restoration industry.  Lori brings her expertise and knowledge of current industry standards to the day-to-day operations of evaluating, estimating and consulting on insurance claims.

Lori specializes in contents estimating, division management, risk, liability, specialty cases, and most importantly, designing a team for success.  Her work includes training insurance adjusters and answering the complicated “what-to-do” questions that often come up while handling a complicated property damage loss.

Lori is a Certified Restorer (an important industry certification through the Restoration Industry Association) and holds an IICRC Master Certification in Smoke and Fire.  She is currently on the RIA Contents Council and presents to numerous companies on the subject of contents restoration and emerging technologies within the industry.

With Lori at the helm as president, Bartwood is proud to have achieved a significant certification as a business owned by a woman by the National Women Business Owners Corporation (NWBOC), the first national certifier of Women Business Enterprises.

Through this certification, NWBOC seeks to provide more corporations with the opportunity to better their procurement practices and to allow women suppliers the opportunity to compete for corporate and government contracts.  Certification provides an opportunity for women business enterprises such as Bartwood to participate in outreach programs which require partnering with woman-owned businesses.
